Mother’s Day is next Sunday 11th March, so I have been dreaming up a little wish list! As a mama myself, I think I am well placed to know what mums really want for Mother’s Day, and it’s not last-minute flowers from the garage. #sorrynotsorry
I have my eyes on a few beautiful, personal, unique Mother’s Day gifts from some fellow independent makers that tick all the boxes. But first, let me say that buying a Mother’s Day gift is not always needed. Something hand made by my kids is always welcome. Unless it’s made from a huge cardboard box that takes up loads of space... I’m thinking a lovely card where they can write out a message in comedy spelling, which is easily stored for years to come.
But of course, I wouldn’t turn my nose up something pretty. Here is my own unique Mother’s Day wish list. I hope my husband sees it and takes note!
A Personalised Present
This stunning vintage teacup and saucer from Vintage Candy comes with the cutest personalised teaspoon. This is particularly apt for me as we never have enough teaspoons, I blame the kids’ yoghurt obsession.
Isn’t the packaging incredible? It’s almost too good to eat. Almost. The chocolate is all developed and hand-produced in small batches by an all-girl team in Leighton Buzzard.
I’d be delighted to receive any of these gifts next week, but the one thing I really want this Mother’s Day? A lie in. I’m not alone, am I? And then being woken at about 10 o’clock with a hot cup of tea (preferably served in the cupabove!) and some cuddles. Now that really would make this Mother’s Day!
It’s suddenly so cold again ❄ I’m looking forward to the spring when I can plant some pretty flowers again. For now I’m just going to look at pretty pictures of my lace print planters to cheer me up! #concreteart#concreteletters#redletters#concrete#etsy#no ths#concreteman#concreteplant er#love#libertyopencall#hangingplanters#concretepots #Minimal#art#concretehome#home#smallbussiness#concretelo ve
